As she looks into the second grade classroom at St. Ignatius of Loyola School, Mission San Jose Dominican Sister Mara Anne Palomares smiles. “These are the grandchildren of children who were in school when I first taught here in 1967,” she says proudly. “And I am still friends with the children and parents of that time.”
